PHEASANT HOLLOW PARK | Vaughan, ON

CLIENT | City of Vaughan

Neighbourhood parks are an essential component to residential developments and are integral to the success and 'livability' of communities. Unique to this site is its location adjacent an existing woodlot, undulating topography, and its historical cultural
context. Completed in Fall 2012, this 2-hectare neighbourhood park’s amenities include mini soccer, basketball court, junior/senior play precincts, passive walkways & lookout point. Inspired by the areas’ agricultural/farmstead roots, design elements include naturalized/seeded areas, bio-swales, perennial plantings, wood rail fencing, sand-blasted feature stone, and custom laser cut motifs on an entry archway and plaza gazebo.
